  • Permanent jewelry is custom-fit jewelry that is welded closed instead of using a clasp. It's meant to be worn continuously

  • No, not at all. The welding process is quick and completely painless. The spark from the welder never touches your skin and a protective layer is used to ensure safety.

  • You can simply cut the chain with scissors, wire cutters, or a nail clipper at the small welded ring. We do offer re-welding for a $10 fee.

  • Yes! Permanent jewelry is made of fine metals like gold or sterling silver and doesn’t need to be removed during airport screening.

  • If the chain breaks due to normal wear and tear, we can re-weld it for a $10 fee. If it breaks within 60 days of your weld, we will re-weld it for free.

  • It depends on the chain and your lifestyle. With proper care, it can last months or even years. Thinner chains may be more delicate.

  • Yes—we offer gold-filled and sterling silver which are hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin.

  • Usually 15–20 minutes per piece. It includes choosing a chain, sizing, and welding.

  • Yes! However, exposure to harsh chemicals (like in pools) can dull or weaken some chains over time.

  • Gold filled is 5-10% solid gold and 14k solid gold is 50-60% solid gold. Gold-filled is a less-expensive option to solid gold but is still very durable and lasts without tarnishing.

  • You cannot transfer your appointment, but you are able to reschedule your appointment 48 hours before your original date and time to avoid losing that $20 deposit fee.

  • This is a good question for your doctor. For an MRI or CAT scan, they should be able to test your jewelry with a magnet at the time of your appointment to see if it’s safe to wear during your procedure. Most people have no issues. If it has to be removed, your doctor or the nurses should be able to remove it with a pair of scissors.

  • Tarnish occurs when oxygen or sulfur makes contact with silver. The oils on your skin help keep away tarnish. Try not to get chemicals, lotion, chlorine, and perfume on your jewelry and polish with a jewelry cloth from time to time. You can use a mild soap and warm water to clean it if you notice tarnishing.

If soap doesn't work, combine water with baking soda to make a paste. You should apply a pea-sized amount of the paste to a clean cloth to polish the silver. You should also use a soft-bristled toothbrush to reach any crevices. Once done, run the item under warm water before drying it with a clean cloth. It will look good as new!

  • Gold-filled jewelry rarely tarnishes as all the gold content is at the surface and since gold doesn’t tarnish, neither should gold filled.

For deep cleaning, you can use mild soapy water and a toothbrush with soft bristles (so it doesn’t scratch).

Detergent is a great option as it can remove residue or fingerprints from the item, and still leave it shiny and bright when it's done. Shine with a jewelry polishing cloth to finish.
